The Handmade Herbarium: Collecting, Printing, and Binding Plant Knowledge
2 days: (Saturday & Sunday). August 8th & 9th, 10 AM - 4 PM In this multi-day immersive workshop we will create a “living herbarium” that honors our relationships with local plants through book arts, eco printing, and natural pigment making. We will learn about ethical gathering and slow, process-based techniques, participants will explore how plants reveal themselves in color, texture, and imprint. Each student will complete a handmade herbarium that becomes both record and ritual—a collaboration with the land.
